When the Vice President candidate and a SNL actress are compared often- one would start to wonder. Countless Saturday Night Live spoofs have been made with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. News reports have even been covering Sarah’s appearances on the comedy show. They discuss how the real interview and the SNL fake interview had a lot in common. When two respectable CNN reporters laugh about the similarity between the real and the fake, that’s not a good sign. Palin should probably be worried that she is as credible as SNL. Granted that Palin has only had a couple month of experience, it seems as though she as prepared as Tiny Fay in answering important questions. We can’t dismiss that Biden has gotten a lot less negative spot light, but he has years of experience in the field. Many of Tina Fay’s impersonations make people laugh- but then again so does Palin. Her running in circles, repeating herself, and talking about Alaska is not taking her very far. If Sarah Palin wants to become more successful in this campaign she needs to:
1. At least sound like she knows what she’s talking about
2. Talk about other things besides Alaska
3. Be as welcomed as Tina Fay
With those things done I’m sure Sarah Palin’s thoughts and opinions will help John McCain win the 2008 Presidential election.
